Saharat is a musical project created by the artist Eti Naor. In the show, women musicians and singers will present contemporary arrangements of popular Iraqi songs. The project also includes original songs written by Naor and composed by young Israeli musicians. Saharat contains the essence of Iraqi culture - songs and flavors with exotic Baghdadi fragrances, expressing a desire to return home and
a deep connection to family and cultural heritage. The diverse repertoire of the project is sung in Hebrew and Arabic, it is old and new, and its arrangements emphasize the unique female voice and creation.
