A meeting of two veteran Israeli bands, the rock band The Tractor’s Revenge and the Piyyut Ensemble, who together create super-temporal trance music, in search of a common language of prayer in a performance of ancient poems from Spain, North Africa and the Middle East, all in original compositions and arrangements. Also in the program: excerpts from the masterpiece album “What Do I Love" by the Tractor’s Revenge, dedicated to the poetry of Rabbi Moshe Ibn Ezra, who lived in the Golden Age of Spanish Jewry, and excerpts from the upcoming new album by the Piyyut Ensemble. This is a performance of a tribal cry in electric frequencies.
