Hadag Nahash Band opens the International Oud Festival with an original performance specially created for the festival. In a new and original interpretation, the band members approach the psalms—one of the pinnacles of Jewish culture—and concoct a work that mixes, in the best tradition of Hadag Nahash, current hip-hop sounds with flavors of electro and punk, contemporary groove with the atmosphere of the Mediterranean basin. Hadag Nahash looks around and translates what they see and feel into an honest subjective statement, one that over the years and the albums has made them a band whose Israeli experience is distinct, authentic and direct.
