The actors and actresses of the Hullegeb Theater Ensemble present the unique story of the Beta Israel community, from the First Temple period to the time of their immigration to Israel. The play tells how Jews arrived in Ethiopia, describes the dynasty of the Gideonites, and explains the Sigd. Abba Gabra Hanna, the well-known comic hero of Ethiopian folklore, will be hosted on stage. The stories are presented in a light, entertaining and humorous fashion with music, ecstatic dance and lots of buna (coffee in Amharic).
