Fanta, an Ethiopian woman escaping her violent marriage, flees with her son from Kiryat Malachi to Netanya and tries to begin a new life. In the new neighborhood she meets people who are different from her, including a spoiled Israeli woman who, it turns out, is experiencing a life story similar to Fanta’s. Secrets connected to her separation from her sister who remained in Ethiopia are revealed through the course of the play via Fanta’s diary.
